Alexa earned her Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Adult Mental Health and Wellness at The University of Southern California. She is a licensed, compassionate and motivated social worker with a comprehensive knowledge in the effects of mental health on the overall quality of life. She is passionate about building trust and rapport with clients through a strengths based approach, reflecting listening, and empathic interpersonal skills. Alexa offers experience with victims and survivors of interpersonal violence, those experiencing the daily impacts of depression and anxiety, and crisis intervention. She provides both therapy and assessment services for individuals using an integrated non-judgmental approach tailored to the unique needs of each new client. She has worked in a variety of settings including an inpatient hospital, emergency room crisis services, and a school for older adolescents with social and emotional needs. Alexa offers a safe space to help you attain clarity, encourages autonomy, and instill hope for a better tomorrow.
