As a professional counselor, Ruhmon Johnson focuses on treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Ruhmon integrates evidence-based talk therapy, mindfulness techniques, movement therapy, and meditation to help clients gain self-awareness while challenging negative thinking. Ruhmon also offers body and mental wellness coaching through a program he’s developed entitled AMMP (Affirmations, Movements, Performance, Process) that combines skills-based and client-centered work to help clients actualize their goals.
Ruhmon’s areas of interest include but are not limited to communication, parenting, Christian counseling, anger management, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, personal growth, depression, relationship issues, grief/loss, self-esteem, infidelity, stress management, life transitions, and men’s issues. Working with the child, teen, and adult population Ruhmon provides individual, group, and family therapy.
