ADD / ADHD

ADHD can feel like the inability to adjust your body and brain to the environment that you are in.  This could mean, calming your brain and body down to engage in a low stimulation environment or engage in something that may require more focus or cognitive intensity.

Behavioral Issues

There are a wide range of behavioral issues for which parents may seek treatment for their child. These are generally behaviors that disrupt the home / school environment, impede a child's ability to live, learn and socialize independently, or create risk of harm to the child or others.

Substance Abuse

All cases of substance abuse typically have an underlying mental health issue as the driving force, and failure to combine these treatments is a shortcoming of our field.  We provide relapse prevention work, utilize the harm reduction model and seek to understand the underlying causes of substance use in our clients.

Autism is a neurological condition that impacts an individual's social / communication skills and presents with fixed interests and repetitive behaviors in the individual.
