Psychedelic Assisted Therapy

What is Psychedelic Assisted Therapy?

In creating a medically supervised psychedelic state, our intention is to access altered states of consciousness as a way to promote or accelerate progress in a variety of mental health and life stressors.  Beginning with a full medical and psychological screening, members of our medical and psychological team will guide you through every step of the process including preparation, dosing, and post integration.  A therapist will sit with you for the entirety of the experience, and support persons are welcome to accompany the patient as well. This is a short term treatment by nature that includes 10-12 sessions typically over a period of 6-8 weeks.  We hold strict standards for medical competency and safety, and aim to create an environment that is tranquil and relaxing, and meet the patient in their desired level of spirituality.

When is Psychedelic Assisted Therapy a good option?

This service can be utilized for patients who may be feeling stuck in their symptoms, patterns, thoughts or behaviors.  Although this may be a useful tool for those who have not responded well to traditional treatments, it can also be used as adjunct to other treatments (including most medications) or as a stand alone.  Research indicates positive outcomes with PTSD, anxiety, depression and existential crises.
