  • Rebecca is a Registered Behavior Technician who previously worked for a private Applied Behavioral Therapy practice in Miami, FL. They have worked with children, preteens, and adolescents. Prior to entering this field, they worked as a teacher at a private Jewish day school in Miami. In both settings, Rebecca encourages learning through play. They use a talk-based approach to work through challenges and set each child up for success in the future. Rebecca uses positive, person-first language and encourages clients to express themselves and share their emotions and unique perspectives. They enjoy collaborating directly with their clients and understanding the child’s point of view and experiences. Rebecca is skilled in Applied Behavioral Analysis and works with children to discover the connections between our actions and their outcomes. They help kids learn and apply new skills through Discrete Trial Training and Natural Environment Teaching. They have experience working with clients on the autism spectrum, as well as those with ADHD and those who struggle with executive functioning. Rebecca has worked with many personalities and is able to connect with children through interests, communication, and a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach. Their goal through their work is to help children and teenagers build the skills necessary to live more confidently and independently.
