Kristen Ott, MA, LMFT

Kristen Ott is a dedicated clinician, inviting you to a safe environment to openly share and process your experiences. She will offer empathy and compassion to assist you with navigating emotional difficulties when they arise. She genuinely cares about the welfare of you and your family. She will work diligently to assist you with meeting your therapeutic goals. Kristen believes she is a facilitator in your journey and that you and your family members have the strength and resilience to improve the quality of your lives.
Kristen has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, as well as in managed care organizations. She also has experience conducting in-home family therapies. Kristen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , which means she uses a systems approach in session, addressing interactions between couples and family members, not just an "individual's symptoms”. She will work to help you improve the quality of your relationships by helping you increase positive communication and strengthen attachments with your loved ones. She also integrates cognitive behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices into her work. She will strive to help you develop the therapeutic tools that work best for you and your family. She currently sees individuals, couples and families virtually through secured web platforms and in person at the Wayne office.
